I contacted Belle Jak for a trip to Seattle in the beginning of August. Everything went smoothly, she responded very quickly. We agreed on mid-October and I felt ok to send her a deposit (attached). Immediately after I sent the money she went into “radio silence”, not even confirming the receipt and after that saying in a couple of mails within the next 1.5 months that she is traveling or busy at work and will respond in a day.
Finally she responded on Oct 6th that she was not sure before she can make it, but managed to get time off at work. But she asked me …to send her the rest of money on the day of flight while she is still in Florida. I felt uncomfortable to pay everything before seeing her and suggested several possible ways to resolve this situation.
She stopped responding-no mail in a month while I see that she now rescheduled her trip to Seattle for Nov 17.
I would not recommend to send her any deposit as I have serious doubts she is really planning any travels.
